Oncologists are on the front lines of medicine in practices and hospitals across the nation every day. Meanwhile, in Washington, DC, there's a lot going on behind the scenes. Government actions and legislation directly affect the type and quality of care provided by practicing physicians, and the research that supports their treatment choices.
